WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO VOLUNTEER WITH US?
We believe that anyone can become a Fin Fighter and we welcome participation from volunteers of all cultures, ages and abilities - your involvement entirely depends on how much time you would like to spend with us working on our campaigns and shark and marine issues.
We want to know what you are passionate about and enjoy doing......often the more creative the better!
Because every idea matters and can make a difference, we are keen to include as many different approaches as we can in our work together.....anything you want to do; from biology/scientific investigative work to making shark shaped pancakes - we want to hear from you!

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GET INVOLVED...
Our volunteer system is based on the form and function of an ecosystem or a 'web' - where everyone is dependant on the roles of everyone else to function; we all work together to create something awesome, doing as much as we like to contribute - of course if you want to play a much more active role this is encouraged too!
We need co-ordinators and people who can organise events and fundraising just as much as we need funding and social media for example.

This web represents our guidelines for all the current volunteer elements - we hope to expand on these as we grow, and some campaigns may need more specific volunteer roles. If there is nothing currently in the web that takes your fancy and you have some new ideas; let us know - there is always room to make the web bigger!

Our fish friendly T-Shirts are made from Fair trade, organic cotton, and screen-printed by hand using environmentally safe water based paint.
Don't have time to volunteer but still want to support our work? For £20 per T-shirt, plus postage - you can!
All the money from sales go towards our campaigns and building our movement to protect sharks!
This is a very critical time for shark conservation in the UK and worldwide.
We face a huge challenge if we are to turn the tide for sharks, and it will require a mammoth effort from individuals and organisations all around the globe, but we know that with your help - we can make that change happen and join those protecting sharks and ecosystems worldwide.
